The Regenerative LightViking
Heart-lifting, earth-grounded
"My name is Elmod Drage Nofer, a seeker of Truth.
I live to integrate the Heart with the Earth: to open up the body, feel its sensations, and connect it once again to the seasonal cycles.
My story is one of feeling separated. From my own inner child, feelings and from Nature itself. It is a story of integrating my whole self back with itself.
I call myself a Regenerative LightViking because I believe in the warrior spirit of taking responsibility for our own healing and the release of tension. It is about living in integrity, with virtue and discipline.
I dream to craft a life where I feel free to express my nakedness and dance vividly around a roaring fire. It is about holding the inner child with warm, caring hands, just as I would hold my own grown spaghetti squash—whispering to it:
“I am finally here. Feeling, seeing, and hearing you. Let's join together and create true magic in the world.'"
The Core Values
The compass that guides the way
Ragnar Lothbrock gazed over on his many fellow boatmen and women, feeling the harsh wind and rain lash against his body. They were out on the vast Northern Sea, doing something no one had ever done before. Sailing west in hope of forging a better fortune for their people. The Vikings were known for their skills in navigating the oceans. Finding the way must have been difficult, yet they had core techniques to guide them.
There lives a Ragnar in all of us, the ability to find values and let them guide the way. The Vikings did not have a modern compass, but they carried deep cultural values and practices that helped them sail and travel as far as they did. A path without integrated values is an aimless path.
These are the values that guide my journey.
Not as dogma or strict rules, but as roots and reminders:
🌿 Seasonal Living - Re-integrate with earth’s cycles
🐺 The Wild Self - Connecting to primordial powers
🌍 Regenerative Community - Healing the earth and each other
⚖️ Virtue & Discipline - Living and embodying integrity
The Aspiration
Crafting the ideal expression
I am driven by a deep desire to be present and hold myself. For me, this means creating more capacity to hold and feel sensations and feelings in the body. Moving in a direction of wholeness instead of separation, and deciding to move away from Better, Bigger, and More. Understanding that life's joys are found in the ability to know when enough is enough.
This is what it looks like to me:
Lifting the Heart means reconnecting with my Wild Self. Allowing the inner wolf to step forth and howl to the moon. Remembering and integrating the parts I have hidden away. Howl after howl.
It is a return to Virtue and Integrity, rooted in the integration of a grounded and responsible presence. With Discipline, scary and trapped energies are met, and Courage invites them to rise to the surface. Lightening the body with every released pattern of energy, returning it to wholeness.
Grounding with the Earth is a return to ancestral wisdom and regenerative practices. It is about becoming softer, aligning life with the seasons, and embracing cyclical living. It is cultivating resonance with the earth through Regenerative Community and an exploration of a more natural way that honors a circular flow of life. A way that celebrates the heavenly partnership between Mother Earth and Father Sun.
The Shadow In The Light
On purity and the things we push away
We are all here in one way or another to learn, in a fuller way, how to be human.
For me, this is learning about the dual aspects of the mind. I am reaching for purity and “the perfect expression”, but at the same time, I am becoming more aware of how much I push away the things I am disgusted about.
How much of what I do, and the values I embody, are based on fear or disgust rather than true love? How deeply am I deceiving myself, thinking that if I only stay “pure”, everything will be fine?
I am in a process of integrating a fuller understanding of how I function. And part of that is putting this out here.
So, if what I write and say seems a little too pure, then it might be because I am running away from the “un-pure”. Is this not something we all do in one way or another?
The Way of Elmod is not about being perfect. It is about being honest about the perfection we chase, and the shadows we hide.
The Integration
Bridging heart and earth, and light and shadow
My name is Elmod and I am a Regenerative LightViking. As a mountain has two sides, I am also both the white and dark wolfs. The white wolf that howls to the moon above, reaching for purity, and the dark wolf hiding away in the shadow, pushing the things I disgust.
Will the work ever be completed, and will all parts once again become one and whole? Maybe at some point, but what happens then? Maybe the wholeness basks in its own glory, gets bored from not knowing what wholeness is, and starts another round with splitting up itself. Is there any point? Again, maybe not, but maybe that is the point! That the point is what we make and decide it to be.
I am deeply inspired to integrate the forgotten parts. I am amazed at the times I arrive at the “Agghh!” moments when I “meet myself in the door”, and say with a warm smile “Ah, there you are”. It feels very much like the father in Parable of the Prodigal Son. Throwing his hands around the returned younger son. Welcoming the forgotten parts back home.
If any of these words resonate with you it means that you also feel a deep aspiration to lift the heart, but also recognize the importance of grounding the body and integrate the forgotten shadow sides. I believe that to truly be human is to live fully in the duality of life. Reaching for the perfect ideal self-expression, is not just about integrating the clean, pure and controlled parts. It is also embracing the disgusting, filthy, dirty, angry and un-controlled parts. If we do not dare to go into the dark basement, then we will forever be half-human.
